We were given the brief of designing a product. My idea way a child's toy that would consist of 9 wooden blocks, that when arranged in the right order would create a picture. With there being 6 surfaces to choose from, I chose to create a 6 image set, I also thought it would be good if they were linked by a narrative; the idea being that my toy would be like a jigsaw and a puzzle all in one. With that in mind I chose illustrate 'The Owl and The Pussy Cat'. I'll upload some photos of the finished product soon, but for now here are my designs:
