Abner Graboff
Abner Graboff is one of those illustrators that you discover every now and then, whose work is so wonderfully unique and inspirational that it reminds you why you chose to study illustration in the first place! A prolific illustrator who illustrated some fantastic children's books in the 50s and 60s, very little is known about him, even trying to find his work online can be something of a struggle; but it's worth it when you do find it! His work manages to be very simple and yet at the same time carries with it a style that is instantly recognisable and distinctive. His use of shape and colour is brilliant in creating some wonderful illustrations which completely stand the test of time.
